Prerequisites
Student bookings are accepted on the understanding that candidates meet the prerequisites as detailed in the HOST Course Description.  The prerequisites are met by the satisfactory completion of the appropriate course(s) or by having equivalent knowledge and experience.

Registration
Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 5 working days. All bookings must be confirmed in writing with a purchase order and will only be valid when signed by an authorised signatory.  Such signature shall constitute acceptance of HOST Computer Services' Terms and Conditions.

Attendance
The course will commence on the date, time and at the location specified in the Confirmation Instructions.

Fees
Full course fees become due for payment upon receipt of invoice.  VAT will be added to all fees at the current UK rate.

Cancellations
Cancellations will only be accepted if confirmed in writing and will be charged at the following rates:

Substitutions
A substitute student from the same company will be accepted up to the commencement of the course free-of-charge, providing the substitute meets the prerequisites.

Transfers
Where students request a transfer to an alternative course date within 10 working days of original course commencement, the full cost of the course will be charged.  This will be offset against the new course date, with an additional £30.00 per course day per student re-booking charge being levied (therefore for a 5 day course a charge of £150.00 will apply).  This is subject to the proviso that the course is still available.

Fees
A customer site course will be the subject of an agreement between HOST Computer Services and the customer. The fee for the course will be stated on the agreement. These fees are based on the maximum number of students and the number of days.  Any additional students or days will be charged pro-rata.  Travel and living expenses of the instructor(s) involved will also be recovered.  All charges are subject to VAT at the current rate.

The terms and conditions for prerequisites, substitution, HOST Computer Services and Customer training are standard as stated.

HOST Computer Services Training
HOST Computer Services reserve the right to modify the course syllabus or schedule to reflect developments, and to change the fees, location and date of any of its courses.  In the event of cancellation, seven calendar days notice will be given prior to the start date of the course.  In the event of a change of fees, the new fees will only be charged on bookings made after the date of the change of fees.  If HOST Computer Services are unable to commence or complete a course as scheduled, due to any cause beyond its reasonable control and where seven days notice has not been given, every effort will be made to rectify the situation but HOST Computer Services will not be liable for failure to do so.

Customer
The customer is responsible for ensuring that:
(1) Except with HOST Computer Services' prior written consent, students do not disclose, provide or make available to any person other that their employer or remove from HOST Computer Services' premises any program material or copies thereof acquired during the training course.
(2) Student do not copy in whole or in part any course materials acquired during the course except with HOST Computer Services' express prior written agreement.
(3) Students are aware of the above.

Liability
HOST Computer Services' total liability arising in any way from any service described herein shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for such services.  These Terms and Conditions state HOST Computer Services' total liability to the customer and are in lieu of and exclude all other warranties implied by Statute, Law or otherwise.
