FAQ's

What time do the courses start?
Courses normally begin at 9.30 a.m. on the first day, however, please check your joining instructions for specific details as there are exceptions. Courses generally run until 17.15 p.m. We encourage you to arrive approximately 15 minutes before your course start time to enable you to register for the course and enjoy a coffee.

What's for lunch?
Lunch is provided on the course and there is a daily selection from three hot meals (2 meat and/or fish and 1 vegetarian) and a sandwich. Refreshments are provided throughout the day. If you have any specific dietary requirements please inform us prior to your attendance.

Is there local parking?
Parking is provided free of charge at Haughton Hall Hotel.

What is the dress code?
Although we don't have a specific dress code, we would specify smart/casual as you see fit.

Do you recommend any hotels?
We do offer the service of booking accommodation for our delegates either at Haughton Hall or other hotels within the area.  However, should you wish to make your own reservation and there is no availability at Haughton Hall please contact us and we will can supply a list of other suitable hotels.  Please note we cannot make reservations on behalf of booking agencies.

What are your terms of business?

What should I do if I can't attend or I'm going to be late for my course?
Please call us on 01952 460551 in the event that you cannot attend or are going to be late (you may leave a message if the office is not open). If you do have a hotel reservation, please remember to cancel it directly with them (even if we have made the booking) otherwise you may incur charges, the number will be on your joining instructions.

Local Amenities?
HOST is located within 10 minutes walk from the centre of Shifnal, a small market town with a variety of shops, including 2 banks with cash machines.

Pubs and eating establishments?
There are a large number of pubs, and a selection of restaurants catering for most tastes; which can be found either on or close to the high street. These include; Cantonese, Greek, Italian, Indian and British style cuisines. In addition fine dining can be found within Haughton Hall Hotel.

Telford is a short drive away with a cinema, bowling and all the major shops, late night opening being on Thursdays. Ironbridge, a world heritage site, and Bridgnorth are also close by.
