Pre-requisites

Delegates should have a basic knowledge of Windows and the SAN Management Appliance (SMA), OpenVMS and Tru64 UNIX as well as some understanding of current network protocols (TCP/IP and UDP) and security such as Secure Shell (SSH), data encryption and firewalls

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the delegates will be able to

• Understand the functionality of ISEE, OSEM and WEBes
• Install the above on Windows (SMA), OpenVMS and Tru64 Unix
• Configure ISEE. OSEM and WEBes
• Test the status of the HP ISEE Server
• Test the connectivity of ISEE, OSEM and WEBes to HP
• Configure local mail notification from System Event Analyzer (SEA – part of WEBes suite)
• Show and modify DESTA Service Obligation information
• Explain the basic call logging process at HP
• Troubleshoot problems with ISEE, OSEM and WEBes
