This one-day instructor-led howto…. training course is an ideal introduction to the basics of LaserJet Printer technology. Participants will be introduced to the terminology and architecture of the product range, giving a firm foundation for further technical training on specific LaserJet products

Intended Audience

This course is intended for Partners, Users, and Engineers who are new to the Imaging and Printing arena and wish to proceed on to train in more product specific areas

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:

• Identify the Basics and Technology relating to HP LaserJet and Multi Function Printers (MFPs)
• Describe the principles used in Copying and scanning
• Describe the Monochrome and Colour printing processes
• Identify where the major LaserJet components are located and their functions
• Show knowledge of using the OCP functions
• Explain the different methods of updating LaserJet firmware
• Explain advanced Multi Function Printer (MFP) features such as Email, Fax, Job storage and copy to folder
• Troubleshoot basic problems on a range of LaserJet and Multi Function Printers (MFPs)
