This class consists of two separate deliverables.

 

HP Insight Control Infrastructure Implementation and Integration v10.21 that supports the AIS – HP Converged Infrastructure certification (HP0-D08 exam), (3 days ILT). The HP Insight Control Infrastructure Implementation and Integration v10.21 course provides the information and exercises necessary to help you install and configure an HP Insight Control solution. This course is an Accredited Integration Specialist (AIS)-level training that combines lecture with hands-on lab activities to help prepare you for actual customer installations of HP Insight software. This course provides an overview of software updates included on the HP Insight Software DVD, and it provides installation tips and configuration recommendations. Hands-on activities and demonstrations are used throughout the course to reinforce the topics discussed and provide familiarity with the products.

 

HP Insight Dynamics Virtualization Implementation and Integration v10.21

 

Supports the AIS – HP Converged Infrastructure certification (HP0-D08 exam), (3 days ILT). The HP Insight Dynamics Virtualization Implementation and Integration v10.21 course provides the information and exercises necessary to help you install and configure an infrastructure management solution using the HP Insight Dynamics management software and HP BladeSystem Matrix management environment. This Accredited Integration Specialist (AIS)-level training combines lecture with hands-on lab activities to help prepare you for actual customer installations of HP virtualization software for the HP ProLiant and HP BladeSystem platforms

Audience

Technically oriented subject matter experts (SME) such as an Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE) who has little experience and expertise in presales, sales-oriented SME with adequate experience and expertise in technical details, Student with an Accredited Presales Professional (APP) certificate for a different field such as BCS, ISS, or ESS.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:

 

• Identify customers who need virtualized infrastructure management
• Describe the functionality of HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM)
• Identify components of the HP Insight Control Environment management software suites
• Describe the benefits of the Insight Control Environment suites
• Identify the main components of the HP ESS Software – SIM/ICE/Service Essentials Assessment tool
• Identify components and features of Insight Dynamics – VSE
• Identify new components and installation requirements of the HP Insight Software DVD
• Determine and configure hardware status using the HP SIM interface and the Insight Control suite
