New Storage Products from HP
We are pleased to announce update courses covering the recently released StorageWorks products from HP. The new models introduce hardware, functionality, installation, administration and management features that are unique to these products. Three courses are now available covering the Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) model 4400, EVA models 4100/6100/8100 and the Modular Smart Array (MSA) 2000. These products will be included into our existing EVA and MSA courses. Those who have attended EVA and/or MSA training with us in the past will benefit from these update courses.
Our update courses cover how to install, configure, manage, monitor and troubleshoot the respective products. For the EVA courses they feature CommandView new version 8. The courses are are equally suited to HP Partner resellers/integrators and those delivering Start-Up, Warranty and Remedial services on these products. Storage Network Industry Association (SNIA)
In association with Knowledge Transfer, we are pleased to announce a schedule of SNIA approved courses aimed at preparing candidates for the SNIA Certification examinations. The SNIA sponsored Certifications of Storage Professional, Systems Engineer, Storage Architect and Storage Networking Expert are fast becoming the standard across the IT industry as the benchmark for proven SAN and Storage skills.
The SNIA curriculum and accreditations are vendor independent, Elements of these SNIA accreditations are appearing as alternative pre-requisites to some of the HP Certification Program storage related certifications. Our courses cover the entire breadth of the current SNIA accreditation levels 2008 version. We offer 4 courses as follows. The embedded links take you to the full course descriptions at our web.
For SNIA Certified Storage Professional (SCSP)
Course KT-S10-101 HStorage Network Foundation
3 days, £1095 ex-VAT. Available dates: 15th September.
For SNIA Certified Systems Engineer (SCSE)
Course KT-S10-200 Storage Networking Management and Administration
5 days, £1695 ex-VAT. Available dates: 13th October.
Course KT-S10-210 SAN and Storage Survival Skills
5 days, £1895 ex-VAT. Available dates: 24th November.
For SNIA Certified Storage Architect (SCSA)
Course KT-S10-300 Storage Assessment, Planning and Design
5 days, £1895 ex-VAT. Available dates: 11th November.
To become an SNIA Certified Storage Networking Expert (SCSNE) requires SCSA per the above, plus a vendor accreditation. There are a few possibilities for the vendor component. For our part we offer the Hewlett-Packard Certification Program courses to enable you to reach Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE) on HP StorageWorks products. Successful completion of the SCA and the HP ASE accreditations certify you to the SNIA Storage Networking Expert level (SCSNE).

HP Imaging and Printing - Designjet and LaserJet
For the HP LaserJet products, in addition to our full range of Warranty and Remedial service delivery courses, we are pleased to announce our schedule for:
HP course 44645 HP IPG Pre-Sales Technical Fundamentals V8.1
This course is part of the HP Accredited Pre-Sales Professional (APP) certification track. This is a two day course priced at £700 ex-VAT. Available dates are 10th and 12th June, 10th July, 11th September and 20th November.
For HP Designjet products, we offer the following courses:
Course 44628 HP Large Format Printing Technical Fundamentals (APP/APC) 2 days, £750 ex-VAT. Available dates: 20th and 22nd May, 25th June, 11th August, 20th October and 15th December.
Course 36954 HP Designjet Z2100/Z3100/T1100/T610 Service and Support (APS) 3 days, £1200 ex-VAT. Available dates: 6th August, 15th October and 10th December.
Course 36955 HP Designjet 4000/4500/Z610 Service and Support (APS) 3 days, £1200 ex-VAT. Available dates: 27th August, 22nd October and 17th December.
Course T375 Demonstrating the HP Designjet Z2100 and Z3100) 1 day, £200 ex-VAT. Available dates: 23rd June, 4th August, 13th October and 8th December.

Scheduled courses are never cancelled due to low numbers.
Our residential training centre is strategically placed in the middle of the UK for ease of access. We also have the capability to deliver this training worldwide.
